Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Lucent (NYSE: LU) provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.739%, while CNET Networks (NASDAQ: CNET) had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 99.040%


San Diego, CA July 17, 2006 -- For this report made on Sunday, July 16th, 2006, Busi-Bee.com took 18343 samples from the websites of Lucent, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Best Buy, Alcatel, and CNET Networks during the entire day of Saturday, July 15th, 2006, and analyzed the data to compile the following results in order of best QoS to worse, precluded by an overall summary as follows;



Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Lucent provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.739%, while CNET Networks had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 99.040%



Lucent has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.739%. The best response hour was at 9am with minimum and average latencies of 0.074611 and 0.458821 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 4am with latencies of 20.017466 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.652026 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.690 with a mean latency of 0.633 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Cisco Systems has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.739%. The best response hour was at 12pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.055021 and 0.154062 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 4am with latencies of 20.012221 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.408410 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.296 with a mean latency of 0.627 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.



Microsoft has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.739%. The best response hour was at 6am with minimum and average latencies of 0.019107 and 0.313444 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 4am with latencies of 20.019341 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.412093 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.293 with a mean latency of 0.628 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. Alcatel has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.299%.
