Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Microsoft provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.913%, while Amazon.com had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 98.082%

San Diego, CA August 4, 2006 -- For this report made on Thursday, August 3rd, 2006, Busi-Bee.com took 18325 samples from the websites of Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Blockbuster, Best Buy, Overstock.com and Amazon.com during the entire day of Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006, and analyzed the data to compile the following results in order of best QoS to worse, precluded by an overall summary as follows;



Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Microsoft provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.913%, while Amazon.com had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 98.082%



Microsoft has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.913%. The best response hour was at 11am with minimum and average latencies of 0.018612 and 0.525112 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 12am with latencies of 9.342427 and 0.356035 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.223 with a mean latency of 0.181 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Cisco Systems has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.826%. The best response hour was at 3am with minimum and average latencies of 0.055145 and 0.152915 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1pm with latencies of 15.203029 and 1.330683 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.273 with a mean latency of 0.590 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.



Blockbuster has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.826%. The best response hour was at 1pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.060574 and 0.755578 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 11am with latencies of 10.300771 and 0.706150 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.249 with a mean latency of 0.312 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Best Buy has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.474%. The best response hour was at 8am with minimum and average latencies of 0.042632 and 0.738793 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1pm with latencies of 25.192468 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.571541 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.576 with a mean latency of 0.578 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Overstock.com has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.212%. The best response hour was at 2am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080380 and 0.484041 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 6pm with latencies of 202.787562 (we consider this unreachable) and 5.378960 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 1.147 with a mean latency of 4.142 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.



Amazon.com has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 98.082%. The best response hour was at 1am with minimum and average latencies of 0.046870 and 0.603380 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 7am with latencies of 182.486489 (we consider this unreachable) and 4.942693 seconds.
