Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Apple Computer (NASDAQ: AAPL) provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.913%, while Lucent (NYSE: LU) had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 92.664%.


San Diego, CA September 15, 2006 -- For this report made on Thursday, September 14th, 2006, Busi-Bee.com took 18295 samples from the websites of Apple Computer, M-Wave, Cisco Systems, Alcatel, Overstock.com and Lucent during the entire day of Wednesday, September 13th, 2006, and analyzed the data to compile the following results in order of best QoS to worse, precluded by an overall summary as follows;



Through complex analysis, Busi-Bee.com (http://www.busi-bee.com/) has found that Apple Computer provided the best overall quality of service (QoS) to their end users with a ranking of 99.913%, while Lucent had the lowest ranking relative to the companies referenced in this study with 92.664%



Apple Computer has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.913%. The best response hour was at 6am with minimum and average latencies of 0.047453 and 0.204747 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1am with latencies of 7.969720 and 0.580436 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.248 with a mean latency of 0.204 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



M-Wave has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.825%. The best response hour was at 3am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080456 and 0.324607 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 5pm with latencies of 6.235819 and 0.400529 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.291 with a mean latency of 0.260 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Cisco Systems has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.738%. The best response hour was at 3pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.051165 and 0.181768 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1am with latencies of 3.675100 and 0.578658 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.208 with a mean latency of 0.207 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Alcatel has provided their site users with what we deem as excellent quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 99.036%. The best response hour was at 4am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080597 and 0.729334 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1am with latencies of 28.987326 (we consider this unreachable) and 1.875215 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 0.670 with a mean latency of 0.685 seconds, we consider this excellent site delivery consistency for the day.



Overstock.com has provided their site users with what we deem as very good quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 98.951%. The best response hour was at 2am with minimum and average latencies of 0.080341 and 15.368496 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1am with latencies of 394.472600 (we consider this unreachable) and 9.183409 seconds. The average latency for the day is about 2.493 with a mean latency of 7.432 seconds, we consider this bad site delivery consistency for the day. This is usually the result of some server down time within the day.



Lucent has provided their site users with what we deem as reasonable quality of service yesterday, with an overall QoS ranking of 92.664%. The best response hour was at 12pm with minimum and average latencies of 0.081342 and 1.784009 seconds respectively, and the worse hour being 1am with latencies of 43.374008 (we consider this unreachable) and 4.063807 seconds.
