Domain Name Could Sell For Millions on eBay

The domain name InvestFromHome.com is expected to fetch in excess of 1 Million US dollars, and has already been appraised by industry experts to be worth at least 5 times that.



Justin Harrison registered the domain InvestFromHome.com 3 years ago, for one of his Internet projects. "It was only recently that the real value of the domain name became apparent", says Harrison.



In the past twelve months Harrison has been presented with several significant offers to buy the domain. Considering the offers, Harrison has opted to let market forces dictate the final value of the domain name through a live auction on eBay.



"Although the allure of a quick deal has tempted me several times to part with the domain name, something has instinctively led me towards an eBay auction", says Harrison.



Other notable domain name sales have been Business.com which sold for 7.5 million US dollars, Casino.com at 5.5 million US dollars, and AsSeenOnTv.com at 5.1 million US dollars.



Asked about how he intends on spending the proceeds of the sale, Harrison stated that he would be donating a considerable amount of money towards animal welfare and also contributing to various anti telecommunications monopoly groups in South Africa.



"My home country South Africa really needs a helping hand both socially and technically, the sale of this domain could help advance many causes close to my heart", said Harrison.



Harrison who is 27 years old runs an eCommerce and Internet Marketing company, and is also an author of several digital books.
