Economy-x-Talk, producer of custom software solutions and a number of nifty utilities, has released a new version of their Salery web store software. It took us many sleepless nights and
a lot of black coffee, but now we have software that really complies with our vision Mark Schonewille of Economy-x-Talk announces. The latest Salery update is just as easy as it gets, he
claims, enter your text, drag a picture, and choose Update from the menu bar. You can set up your web store within minutes.
In reply to why one would choose Salery, instead of any of the available alternatives, Schonewille lists a number of advantages compared to other web stores: Salery users don'st pay for
advertisements, auctions or sales. Items in your store can be on-line as long as you like, without additional cost. You don'st have to re-enter items in your web store every 10 days. You
don'st need to pay for additional server space, while you have a paid hosting service already. Salery is not a slow and untransparent browser-based system but an easy and quick programme
running on your own computer. There'ss just too much to mention it all.
A really cool new feature of Salery 1.1.1 is the Salery Merchants Connection Programme Schonewille stresses. The SMCP connects all qualifying Salery web stores, creating one big
international store. Schonewille assures that SMCP members will experience increased traffic to their sites and thus increased sales. Best of all: the SMCP is completely free. Salery is
ready for the SMCP and we are now working hard to launch the programme.
Salery was first released in Summer 2005. During the past year, we worked hard to improve the software. We added categories which make it easier to browse the store. We also added
thumbnails and improved export capabilities, for instance. The new features have made it even easier to create a well-looking web site. The default look is modern and simple, without
distracting potential buyers's attention from the available products according to Schonewille.
A license costs 29 euro, equivalent to approximately 34 dollar. If you have a license for Salery 1.0, you are entitled to all updates with version number 1.x. All registered users who
have a version older than 1.1.1 are advised to update Salery now, for free.
Salery is available for Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows. A Mac Intel version is expected anytime soon. For more information about the Salery web store software or to download your
own copy, go to the Salery homepage at http://www.salery.biz.
