Music Forte (www.musicforte.com), an online retailer of over 300,000 titles in sheet music and music goods, is providing new buyer incentive in their sheet music department.
"To most people who buy sheet music (http://www.musicforte.com/shop/lyrics-and-sheet-music/), it is somewhat of an
emotional experience," says Greg Percifield, founder of Music Forte Inc. "There is a lot of excitement in learning a new instrument, or watching your kids start lessons. The same goes for
professional musicians. Learning music is an ongoing process. It never ends."
Music Forte feels that it has missed out on acknowledging this experience in the past. But it will not remain that way. A complete redesign is already underway for the website that
focuses more on emotion instead of being completely product-driven.
"These days, you're likely to find an abundance of competition, no matter what you are selling. Lower pricing is not always going to win the customer over," continues Greg.
Music Forte knows that music is in the heart. Although their pricing is extremely competitive, it is expected that a greater success will be driven from the ability to connect with the
customers on an emotional level. The redesign is expected to be completed in two to three weeks. In the meantime (as they gear up for the new release), they have added additional buyer
incentives to keep their customers coming back so that when the new site is unveiled, they will have more repeat visitors to appreciate it.
Music Forte has already begun coupon promotions, providing savings and free gifts with orders. One of the gifts being offered is free notation manuscript paper. "It's not an attempt to
sidestep our future plans. We're going to offer it all!"
Music Forte coupons are presented at a variety of online sources. "Personally, I love the manuscript paper," says Greg. "I used it when I studied music in College. I remember once I had
to notate a Hans Zimmer (http://www.musicforte.com/shop/lyrics-and-sheet-music/composer/HansZimmer)
composition. It was an incredibly challenging and humbling lesson. I won't tell you what my grade was! I have also used notation paper with my students, when I later taught piano. And I
still use it today, when I write music."
The manuscript paper is just one of several gifts that are branded with Music Forte's website information. The greater gift is planned in the site redesign (estimated to be completed
before the end of July), which will pay attention to the excitement, motivation and inspiration between musicians and their music.
"If you can somehow brand inspiration and be the company that people think about first, direct traffic is sure to increase, as is word-of-mouth. That's the company that we're going to
be!"
