New Website Focuses On Animal Charities and Safe Pet Food Shopping



Pet Commerce Direct, a New York LLC, has launched the Animal Shelter Store, the first of three unique programs created exclusively to enhance online fundraising and increase donations for animal shelters and rescues.



The first program released February 1, 2008 is the Animal Shelter Store.com which features more than 600 dog and cat recall-free food, treats, vitamins and natural remedies. None of the companies listed in the store are contained in the FDA's January 2008 updated list of companies who were part of the 2007-2008 recall. The company will continue to adhere to strict product selection standards and add eco friendly pet products as well as organic and free range items.



For animal shelters and rescues the Animal Shelter Store offers a unique affiliate fundraising opportunity. Shelters will link to the Animal Shelter Store using graphics or text. Software will track all sales, traffic and commissions due. For organizations whose supporter base is large, this program will offer a convenient one-stop-shop for top quality pet goods while enhancing fundraising efforts.



Shelters are paid up to 25 percent of product profits from each transaction. Most affiliate programs for shelters and rescues require supporters go to separate stores to shop and average 15 percent of the purchase.



Animal Shelters and Rescues sign up at www.petcommercedirect.com. On its first day, Pet Commerce DIrect signed up 16 organizations and is now featured on Cesar Millan's "Millan Foundation" website at www.millanfoundation.com.



Fundraising programs in development include a Purebred Rescue Store and an Equine Rescue Store.
