June 7, 2005 -- Young workers are taking advantage of their internet skills and starting businesses online. Starting a business online is easier and less costly than it would be to start
a local business. There are a lot of prejudices towards young business owners. They are discovering that online business gives them the advantage of selling their products without the
normal discrimination of being young.
Lindsay Blades, a 23 year old mother of two, was a homemaker until she discovered online business. She opened an online discount electronics store. Her store Electronics Obsession has
given her the ability to earn a regular income, while still staying at home with her children.
This is just one example, many young entrepreneurs are finding a career in online store ownership. Online stores allow younger owners to avoid prejudices they may face in a locally owned
store and become just as successful if not more successful.
