Idaho Motorsports Store Also Designs Own Products
Going out snowmobiling, motorcycle riding or ATV riding is always a fun adventure. Changing in an enclosed trailer is not.
"It's easier if you have a folding chair to sit on (to change shoes, etc.)," Dennis Browning, owner of Mountain Motor Sports, said. "But the problem is that then you have to find a place to store the folding chair."
Browning has solved the problem with his newly designed trailer bench. The bench attaches to the trailer wall and folds out, offering a comfortably padded seat that conveniently retracts when it's not needed. When the bench is folded up, it only sticks out 4" from the wall.
Though the bench was originally designed for use in enclosed trailers, Browning said it could be an ideal solution for other crowded areas, such as shops.
Approximately eight months ago, Browning collaborated with Rory Wilson of TechRamp, Inc. to design the bench. Wilson is also manufacturing the benches.
Though the bench has only been on the market for a few weeks, Browning says there is definite interest. "People have been calling and they really seem to like it."
Two years ago, Browning also designed a modified rocker link to lower the seat height of certain Yamaha motorcycles 1.5 inches. The has link been well-received by customers "who are a little on the short side."
In addition to lowering links now being available for 2008 Yamaha models, Browning is developing two more links for other models.
