Gingerbread LittleVersity Celebrates 25th Anniversary
May 4, 2005 -- Gingerbread LittleVersity, a family-owned childcare facility, is celebrating 25 years of business. This is a major milestone for the company, which is known for its education focus. Gingerbread has been providing the Fuquay-Varina area with quality childcare since 1980, giving families a secure and safe place for their children to learn, grow and play.
"The generations we have spanned in the last quarter of a century is incredible," says Kelli Ketner, General Manager of Gingerbread LittleVersity. "The children we care for and teach now are the children of parents who were once enrolled with us when they were kids."
After owner, Libby Crumpton, opened the first center in 1980 in downtown Fuquay-Varina, Gingerbread continued to grow by opening two more centers in 1988 and 1997. The small-town atmosphere of the centers allowed Gingerbread to create strong, long-lasting relationships with families in the community, leading to a warm reputation and increased business.
