Lions and Tigers andSingle Parent Dating Oh My

May 15, 2005 -- With a child at home, how do you prove you're a catch in today's dating market?

Nothing was worse than not getting asked to prom. And then you deal with the bar circuit and dating in your 20s. And then your 30s roll around and you wonder why you are still single when you are finally secure with who you are.

And then you get married and have children, and your Prince Charming turns out not to be so charming after 10 years of marriage, so you depart with the pumpkin. And you are in your 40s, and back on the dating circuit, teenage child in tow.

How do you prove you're a catch in today's dating market? When resurfacing into the dating scene - is it better to conceal or reveal you're a single parent…and when -- over the phone, on the first, second or third date?

Jodi Seidler, Founder of Making Lemonade-The Single Parent Network (www.makinglemonade.com)and SingleParentSource, will share tips and tidbits on what it's like to be a mid-aged, hormone challenged single mom of a hormone raging teenage boy.

She's created a CD and workbook called "From Teen Scream to Dream Teen" to help single parents of teens keep from committing hari kari; she is working on her first book on the INs and OUTs of Single Parenting, and second book of poetry for the hormonally challenged romantic.
