Local2Localorg Launches to Rave Reviews Across America
February 7, 2004 - Finding a job, looking to buy or sell your personal goods, looking for service providers to hire, meet new people through personals, these are just a few of the benefits offered to its users by the new online community Local2Local (local2local.org). Local2Local currently serves over 60 cities across the United States. The site brings local people, business, and organizations together around the country. Expansions into other countries are also being considered.
Founded by John Quach, owner of Quachie Media based in Seattle, the site's original idea was conceived years ago. "It was the early 90's when I first envisioned Local2Local. I wanted an online community without hassles where local people could interact with one another. A place where everyone had a voice and was of the same importance. A website that enables everyday users to be able to communicate or reach out to their community", explained Quach.
Though the project has been compared to other online classified websites including Craigslist, wherein eBay recently acquired a 25% preexisting minority ownership of, Local2Local far outweighs the services and community-friendly usages of all other online communities by a long stretch. From offering coupons through the service providers online, to detailed listings which is easier and more efficient than the yellow pages, to enabling small businesses to advertise and reach a local or global market with little or no advertising budget. "Local2Local is a remarkable and useful online tool for absolutely everyone, Quach is a genius. Not only have I had the opportunity of meeting new friends and networking with a variety of people from all over, my company has also recruited several new representatives from using the site. It's a one-stop, multifaceted, interactive environment and it makes life easier," expressed Germaine Moody, CEO of MoodTyme Entertainment & Corporate.
This all-in-one online community is creating steam as its popular catch phrase "I am Local2Local" is becoming the latest domestic and international words to know. Simply put, Local2Local is bringing people together and making life easier, one click at a time. Question, are you Local2Local?
