The Art Institute of California San Francisco Announces New Scholarships for High School Seniors


February 7, 2005 -- The Art Institute of California - San Francisco invites high school seniors interested in the fields of applied arts and design to apply for tuition scholarships in its 2005 scholarship competition.

Scholarships are available for new students pursuing degrees in Graphic Design, Advertising, Media Arts & Animation, Game Art & Design, Visual & Game Programming, Interior Design, Interactive Media Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Marketing & Management.

Scholarship awards are based on the quality of projects submitted by high school seniors who demonstrate ability and commitment to studying in the school's programs. Students may qualify for scholarships in amounts ranging between $5,000 and $25,000, depending on number and quality of submissions.

For more details or to apply, students must obtain a Scholarship Competition Entry Form from the school by emailing e-mail protected from spam bots or calling 888-493-3261. The entry deadline is April 30, 2005. Scholarship winners will be notified by May 21, 2005.

Students must fulfill general admission guidelines and competition guidelines, including a 250-word essay, educational resume, letters of recommendation and entry form. In addition, students will need to submit samples of artwork relating to each individual program as explained in the entry form.
