North Island Credit Union Golf Tournament Postponed

January 30, 2005 -- The North Island Credit Union Golf Tournament at The Maderas Golf Club in San Diego benefiting the Corazn de Vida Foundation has been postponed from February 9th to a to be determined date in the Fall of 2005.

Corazn de Vida, which means Heart of Life, is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 to help support the 50 orphanages located in Baja California. With little to no government assistance, all of the homes struggle on a daily basis to provide food and basic necessities for the children. The foundation is primarily volunteer-driven with over 3,000 Southern California volunteers who visit the homes throughout the year, taking food, supplies and love. Currently, Corazn de Vida provides support for ten homes.
