1. There are exactly 9 planets in our solar system. Our planet is the 3rd from the sun which is the square of 9.

4. When one takes the number 1 and adds a 1 followed by 6 or more zeroes and then divides it by the number 7 one gets the number 142857, which has been called, the ''sacred'' number. 7 * 1,000,000 / 142857 Add as many zeros as you wish, and keep dividing it by 7. you will always get repetitions of the same number. these numbers added together always equal 27 add these and you get 9.
5. There are currently (2003) 109 elements in the Periodic Table. The 9th is Fluorine, the 99th is Einsteinium which relates to Albert Einstein famous equation: e=mc2
6. Besides being the last in line of single digit whole numbers, the number 9 has taken on an almost mystical quality. For example, if one adds together all the numbers in our numerical system: 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = one gets 45 add these digits together 4 + 5 = and one gets 9
7. The Apollo 9 mission was the first manned flight of all Apollo lunar hardware in Earth orbit and first manned flight of the lunar module.
8. In the world of mathematics, the number 9 is INVINCIBLE no matter how many times you multiply it or add it to its own multiple. This is true of NO other number. The 360 degrees of the circle add to 9
